LED Installation · Tokyo
Good LED installation isn't just about swapping out bulbs. It's about placement that makes sense, wiring done carefully, and leaving your home looking — and feeling — noticeably better than when we arrived.
What this service delivers
By the time we leave, your new LED lighting will be in position, working properly, and — importantly — you'll understand how to use it. We walk through the controls, explain any adjustments available, and make sure nothing feels unfamiliar or uncertain.
Beyond the practical side, there's something more straightforward: a room that looks the way you hoped when you imagined the change. Adequate lighting that's also comfortable to live with is more achievable than it sounds, and we've done it in enough Tokyo homes to have a clear sense of what works.
Lower energy use
LED fixtures draw significantly less power than older fittings — a change you'll notice on the electricity bill over time.
Light that suits the room
We plan placement so the light reaches where it should — evenly, without harsh spots or dark corners left behind.
Work done tidily
We take care with your home while we work — and we leave it clean. No debris, no unfinished edges, no dust left behind.
Why people come to us
A lot of Tokyo homes still have fluorescent fittings or incandescent bulbs that were installed years ago and haven't been reconsidered since. The light they give off is fine — functional — but there's often a faint flatness to it that's hard to ignore once you start noticing it.
Other times the situation is simpler: you're in a new place that needs lighting from scratch, or you've added a room and the original circuit doesn't reach it properly. In either case, the wiring and placement decisions matter more than most people expect.
DIY LED swaps work for simple bulb changes. But for fixtures, placement planning, and anything involving wiring, having someone experienced on the job prevents small mistakes that can become larger ones down the line.
Replacing fluorescent ceiling lights with LED equivalents that feel warmer and more considered
Installing new fixtures in a recently renovated or newly built room that currently has no lighting
Adding accent or task lighting in a kitchen, study, or bedroom where the main light isn't enough
Following up on a lighting consultation and ready to move from a shortlist into actual installation
How we work
Before any fixture goes up, we discuss placement with you. Where the light will fall, how it will interact with the room's existing features, whether the position makes sense for how you use the space. That conversation shapes everything that follows.
01
We look at the room, the existing wiring, and what you'd like to change. We confirm the scope and timeline before anything starts.
02
We mark out where fixtures will go and talk through why. You can adjust and ask questions before a single hole is made.
03
Wiring is handled cleanly and to standard. Fixtures are secured properly. We work without rushing, because rushing leads to problems.
04
Every fixture is tested before we move on. If something isn't quite right, we address it on the day — not as a follow-up call.
05
We show you how everything works — dimmers, switches, any smart features — in plain terms before we leave.
06
We clean up as we go and do a final check of the space before we say goodbye. Your home should look better, not more worked-on.
What a visit feels like
A typical LED installation visit runs three to five hours, depending on how many rooms or fixtures are involved. We work quietly and steadily — there's no dramatic noise or disruption beyond what the job genuinely requires.
You're welcome to be present throughout or to leave us to it, whichever you prefer. We'll check in at key decision points — like confirming a placement position before it's fixed — and otherwise get on with the work.
The moment the lights come on properly in a room for the first time is usually a pleasant one. People often say it's more noticeable than they expected — that the room looks different in a way that's hard to put into words but immediately obvious to live in.
We explain what we're doing before we do it — no surprises about what's happening in your home
The safety notes are shared in plain language — you'll know what we found and what it means
We don't upsell or suggest additional work unless there's a genuine reason to mention it
If something unexpected comes up during the visit, we discuss it with you before proceeding

Fixtures and bulbs sourced separately. We can advise on suppliers and compatible options.
The service fee covers the visit, the labour, the planning, and the walkthrough. Fixtures themselves are sourced and purchased separately — we can point you to reliable suppliers in Tokyo and advise on what to look for, or work with fixtures you've already chosen.
If you've already had a lighting consultation with us, we carry forward what we learned about your space — no need to re-explain your preferences or describe the rooms again.
For larger homes or multi-room projects, we discuss scope and timing in advance so there are no surprises on the day or the invoice.
What to expect in practice
LED fixtures are noticeably different from older fittings — the colour rendering tends to be truer, the light distribution more even, and the quality doesn't degrade as quickly over time. Most people find the change more impactful than they anticipated, particularly in rooms they spend their evenings in.
We work to a standard that means the installation should perform without issue for years. If something does go wrong within a reasonable period after our visit, we come back and look at it without making a production of it.
The visit runs three to five hours. By the end, every fixture is in, tested, and you understand how it works.
You'll notice how the rooms feel in the evenings — that's usually when the difference is clearest. Any questions that come up are welcome by email.
Quality LED fixtures are built to last a long time. The energy savings accumulate gradually — quietly doing their job in the background.
Our commitment to you
If a fixture we've installed develops a fault or sits incorrectly within a reasonable period after the visit, we return and resolve it at no additional cost. The installation should work, and if it doesn't, that's our responsibility to address.
Before you book, you're welcome to ask any questions about the process, the scope, or what to expect. A short conversation before committing is entirely reasonable, and we're glad to have it.
Getting started
Send a short message through the contact form. Describe the space and what you're hoping to change — even a rough description is a useful starting point.
We'll confirm what's involved, answer any questions, and find a time that suits you — without pressure to decide quickly.
The visit is calm and methodical. You end the day with rooms that look noticeably better and an electrician you can call again when needed.
A short message is enough to get started. We'll take it from there at whatever pace works for you.
